In an exclusive revelation, an insider close to King Charles has hinted at the possibility of the monarch providing Prince Harry with a permanent residence in England, citing that it would be
"the right thing to do."
Amidst ongoing royal dynamics, a PR expert has suggested that King Charles should consider granting Prince Harry a lasting home in the UK to alleviate any further tensions within the Royal Family.
Prince Harry currently serves as one of the seven Counsellors of State for his father, and according to established royal protocols, individuals assuming this role should be furnished with a residence in England.
Grigorij Richters, the CEO at Global PR and a Communications expert at XWECAN, shared his perspective with Daily Express US, expressing his belief that King Charles may indeed offer Prince Harry a place to reside in Britain. He emphasized, "I believe the King will grant Harry a place to live in Britain. It would be the right thing to do, after all, the King is Harry's father, and it would take a lot of the drama out of the situation."
Richters further commented, "Even if the release of Harry's book may have caused the Royal Family a lot of embarrassment, it would demonstrate true kindness and grace from the King to allow his son to live in Britain."
From a public relations standpoint, Richters stressed the importance of resolving conflicts with Prince Harry and his daughter-in-law. He stated, "I believe the Royal Family's goal should be to simply resolve conflicts and move forward. They can't keep becoming involved in all of this drama. If the King allows Harry to live in Britain, he will set a good example for the entire family and country, taking the sting out of the situation and making it a non-issue."
He also pointed out that denying Prince Harry a residence in London could be perceived as isolating him from the royal fold, potentially exacerbating family tensions. Richters warned, "Not allowing his son to live in Britain could certainly be interpreted as the King shunning his son. If he denies this, the King would forcefully make Harry look bad, creating yet another tense scenario for everyone and fueling the family drama."
A Counsellor of State essentially serves as a substitute for King Charles should the monarch be temporarily unable to fulfill his duties due to illness or travel abroad. There has been speculation about whether King Charles will extend this arrangement to his youngest son, particularly following Prince Harry's decision to step back from royal responsibilities and relocate to the United States in 2020.
