British Queen celebrates

In a recent interview with British show host Piers Morgan, Jewish-American comedian Roseanne Barr made a controversial remark about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, stating that he

is not a "good" Jewish person. This comes shortly after Russian President Vladimir Putin also criticized Zelensky's Jewish identity.

Barr, who has been known for making provocative statements, had previously made comments about the Holocaust, claiming that "nobody died" and suggesting that six million Jews should die. However, her family later clarified that she was being sarcastic to highlight the limits of comedy in today's society.

During her conversation with Piers Morgan, Barr expressed her frustration with what she perceives as misinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine. She seemed to justify Russian aggression and raised the issue of alleged Nazi activities in Ukraine.

Piers Morgan challenged Barr's opinions, particularly regarding Zelensky's Jewish heritage. Barr responded by saying that being Jewish does not automatically make someone a supporter of Jews or ensure their positive impact on the Jewish community.

These remarks by Roseanne Barr have ignited controversy and sparked discussions about the limits of free speech and the responsibility of public figures in their choice of words. Photo by Stand-Up Sucks, LLC, Wikimedia commons.
