British Queen celebrates

The Queen and her sister, Annabel Elliot, graced Wimbledon with their presence on Day ten of the tournament, adding to the royal presence at the event. During her visit, Queen Camilla

shared a surprising revelation about her personal connection to tennis.

While interacting with two ball girls, Larissa (15), Cassie (16), and ball boy Sean (16), the Queen disclosed that she herself had been a ball girl in the past. Curious to know if they had previous experience at Wimbledon, she empathized with the challenging role, stating, "You have to be very agile. I remember doing it 100 years ago at Queen's (Club). It is quite difficult."

Both Queen Camilla and her sister had served as ball girls at the Queen's Club Championships, an esteemed men's tennis tournament held annually in June at the Queen's Club in West Kensington. The Queen's connection to the sport can be traced back to her attendance at Queen's Gate School, where it is believed she participated as a ball girl during her time as a student there.
