British Queen celebrates

King Felipe VI of Spain was the first to offer his congratulations to Carlos Alcaraz as he claimed the Gentlemen's Singles title at Wimbledon. King Felipe led the applause from the Royal Box on

Centre Court, and in response, Carlos Alcaraz thanked the monarch for his presence. In his speech to the crowd, the new champion humorously mentioned that he had won both times he played in front of King Felipe and jokingly requested him to attend more of his matches.

The thrilling final match saw the Spanish number one seed triumph over defending champion Novak Djokovic in five sets, securing his first major victory at the All England Club. The Spanish Royal Household quickly sent their congratulations through social media, praising Carlos Alcaraz for playing like a true number one and becoming the champion of Wimbledon.

As Carlos Alcaraz stepped forward to receive the iconic gilt trophy from the Princess of Wales, King Felipe VI joined the enthusiastic applause. The new champion graciously bowed to the Princess before raising the cup triumphantly. The Princess, accompanied by the Prince of Wales, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte, had witnessed the match, with Princess Charlotte attending Wimbledon for the first time.
