Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev claimed several countries are now willing to supply Iran with nuclear warheads following U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. In a provocative

post on X (formerly Twitter), Medvedev said the U.S. strikes in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow had backfired, strengthening Iran’s regime rather than weakening it.

“The enrichment of nuclear material—and now, the future production of nuclear weapons—will continue,” Medvedev declared. He said the attacks have united Iranians around their leadership and strengthened the country's resolve.

Medvedev, now Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, has become increasingly outspoken since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, often using social media to lash out at the West. His recent post garnered millions of views and coincides with deepening Russian-Iranian ties, including a strategic pact signed earlier this year.

The U.S. assault, dubbed “Operation Midnight Hammer,” involved over 125 aircraft and dozens of missiles, targeting key nuclear sites. While U.S. officials claimed significant damage, Iran retaliated by launching strikes on Israel.

Russia condemned the U.S. action as a violation of international law, with officials and commentators urging Moscow to supply Iran with weapons and support—mirroring Western aid to Ukraine.
