British Queen celebrates

The European Union's highest court has rejected legal challenges brought by British citizens who contested the loss of their EU citizens' rights resulting from Brexit.

Since Britain's decision to leave the EU, many British residents and workers in the EU have faced increased complexities in various aspects of their lives, such as work permits and residency.

However, the EU court ruled that these individuals did not have legal grounds to reverse the loss of their rights following Brexit.

"The Court concludes that the British citizens do not have an interest in bringing proceedings and that the General Court rightly rejected their actions as inadmissible," stated the court.
