British Queen celebrates

Nigel Farage’s right-wing Reform UK party has surged to the top of the latest opinion poll, overtaking the ruling Labour Party for the first time.

A YouGov survey conducted for The Times revealed that if a general election were held today, 25 percent of British voters would back Reform UK, while 24 percent would support Labour, and 21 percent would choose the Conservatives.

The poll, which surveyed 2,465 people between 2-3 February, indicates a tight race, with Reform’s one-point lead over Labour falling within the margin of error, according to YouGov.

Labour, which secured a landslide victory in the July 2024 general election, saw a three-point decline compared to the previous poll conducted on 26-27 January. Meanwhile, Reform UK gained two points, marking a significant shift in voter sentiment.
