A 32-year-old woman has been arrested following reports of antisemitic abuse and assaults at a café on Baker Street in central London.
According to the Metropolitan Police, officers were called to the scene at around 4:30 PM on 17 July after receiving reports that the woman had verbally abused both staff and customers, shouting comments linked to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
She was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated criminal damage and multiple assaults. The woman has since been released on bail while further investigations continue. Photo by Dean Molyneaux, Wikimedia commons.
