British Queen celebrates

 

Police have arrested a man following reports that he targeted Jewish-owned businesses and attempted to assault pedestrians in Golders Green.

The incident occurred on Sunday around 5:30 PM on Golders Green Road, where officers responded to reports of a man behaving erratically in the street. Witnesses described him as shouting in Arabic outside Jewish-owned establishments.

Local residents assisted law enforcement in searching for the suspect, and officers were eventually able to detain him.

In a statement, Barnet Metropolitan Police confirmed that the man was arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offense.

“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident,” the statement read. “So far, there have been no reports of any injuries.”
