British Queen celebrates

The British government has taken swift action in response to the wildfires in Rhodes by deploying a rapid deployment team to aid British nationals on the island.

The team consists of five ministry staff members and four British Red Cross responders, who will be stationed at Rhodes International Airport to provide support and assistance to those affected.

As the fires continue to pose a threat to the safety of British citizens in Rhodes, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is closely monitoring the situation and maintaining constant communication with local authorities.

The spokesperson for the government emphasized that the well-being and security of British nationals are of utmost importance, prompting the immediate deployment of the Rapid Deployment Team. The team's expertise and resources will be dedicated to assisting and safeguarding British individuals who may be impacted by the ongoing wildfires.

With the team on the ground at Rhodes International Airport, the UK government aims to coordinate relief efforts efficiently and ensure that all necessary support is provided to those in need.
