EasyJet said on Monday it has finished implementing the required software updates across its Airbus A320-family fleet, completing the work over the weekend
following a global recall issued by Airbus on Friday.
The low-cost carrier said the update programme was carried out without disruption, with all scheduled services operating normally despite the accelerated maintenance window. According to the company, engineering teams were deployed across its European network to perform the mandated software adjustments, allowing the airline to avoid cancellations or significant delays.
EasyJet added that its full-year financial guidance remains unchanged, noting that the recall has had no material impact on operations or expected earnings. The airline said it would continue to work closely with Airbus and regulators to ensure ongoing fleet reliability and compliance with manufacturer directives.
The recall, which affected operators of the widely used A320-family jets, required airlines to install updated onboard systems software designed to address issues identified during routine fleet monitoring. Airbus has said the update is precautionary and part of its standard safety-management procedures.
