The Royal Air Force (RAF) celebrated a significant milestone as the first group of Ukrainian pilots completed their intensive flight training under RAF instructors' guidance.
The ten pilots underwent comprehensive training in basic flying skills, ground school instruction, and language proficiency in the UK. Equipped with this training, they will play a crucial role in Ukraine's defense, safeguarding the nation's skies against incursions from Russian forces.
Following their graduation, the pilots will advance to further training provided by the French Air Force before transitioning to operate F-16 fighter jets.

The training received by the Ukrainian pilots covered a wide range of skills, including aircraft handling, instrument flying, navigation, and advanced formation flying, all under the guidance of experienced RAF instructors. Language training in English was also provided to enhance interoperability with NATO air forces.
Aligned with the French Air Force's training programs, the pilots will continue their advanced flight training in France before transitioning to F-16 aircraft training.
