A single UK ticket holder has won an astonishing £181 million EuroMillions jackpot, lottery operator Allwyn confirmed following Tuesday night’s draw.
The lucky player matched **all five main numbers — 12, 14, 27, 44 and 50 — along with the two Lucky Star numbers 04 and 12, securing a life-changing prize worth £181,073,415.70.
According to National Lottery officials, the massive payout ranks as the third-largest jackpot ever won in the UK.
“Life-changing” win
Senior winners’ adviser Andy Carter described the prize as truly transformative.
“This is a life-changing amount of money. Anyone who bought a ticket should take a moment to check it carefully — you could be the winner we’re looking for,” he said.
Carter noted that the winner’s newfound fortune places them among Britain’s wealthiest celebrities. For comparison, singer Adele is estimated to have a net worth of around £170 million.
“With that size of fortune, the winner could enjoy a lifestyle comparable to some of the world’s biggest stars,” Carter added.
Other UK winners in the draw
Tuesday’s draw also produced several other notable UK prizes:
- One player matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star, winning £355,164.90
- Another ticket holder matched all five main numbers, taking home £16,601.50
Record jackpots in the UK
While the £181 million prize is enormous, the largest ever UK lottery win remains the £195 million EuroMillions jackpot claimed in 2022, according to EuroMillions.
The transnational lottery operates across nine European countries, with draws taking place every Tuesday and Friday.
Next jackpot resets
Following the massive payout, the EuroMillions jackpot resets to an estimated £14 million for Friday’s upcoming draw.
Lottery officials are now urging players across the UK to check their tickets carefully — as the hunt begins for the newly minted multi-millionaire.
