PayPal has officially re-launched its services in the United Kingdom, nearly two years after restructuring its operations in response to Brexit.
The digital payments giant announced on Wednesday that UK customers can once again use PayPal to shop both online and in-store. As part of its renewed offering, the company is introducing a suite of financial products including debit cards usable worldwide with no transaction fees, new credit card options, and access to its PayPal+ loyalty programme.
The relaunch marks PayPal’s renewed push into one of its key European markets, as the firm seeks to strengthen its post-Brexit presence and expand its footprint in global digital finance. Photo by Sagar Savla, Wikimedia commons.
