Thousands of jubilant Arsenal supporters poured into the streets of North London on Tuesday night after the club secured its first Premier League title in 22 years, igniting scenes of celebration
around the Emirates Stadium that stretched late into the evening.
Arsenal were crowned champions without playing after second-placed Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw away at Bournemouth, confirming Mikel Arteta’s side as winners following a commanding campaign in which they topped the table for most of the season.
Players and staff gathered at the club’s training base north of London to watch the decisive match together. Videos shared on social media showed emotional scenes as players embraced and celebrated the moment Arsenal’s 14th English league title was officially confirmed.
Across the capital, supporters spilled out from homes, bars and pubs before converging outside the Emirates Stadium. Fireworks lit the sky while fans waved flares and chanted “Champions! Champions! Ole! Ole! Ole!” in celebration of the long-awaited triumph.
“Words can’t describe it — we’ve waited 22 years for this,” one Arsenal supporter told Reuters TV amid the celebrations. “Bournemouth did us a massive favour today. But we deserve this title after the season we’ve had.” Photo by Ank kumar, Wikimedia commons.
