Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Monday that two individuals linked to the British embassy in Moscow have been ordered to leave the country over allegations of

intelligence activities, according to Russian state news agency TASS.

The FSB claimed that both individuals provided false information about themselves upon entering Russia. It further stated that its investigation uncovered what it described as "signs of intelligence and sabotage activities" that posed a threat to Russia's national security.

As a result, the two individuals have been given a two-week deadline to leave the country, TASS reported. Photo by NVO, Wikimedia commons.
