King Charles and Queen Camilla are set to welcome Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan on a State Visit to the UK during early summer.
The highly anticipated visit, which was postponed from 2020 due to the pandemic, is scheduled to take place in June. During their stay, the Emperor and Empress will reside at Buckingham Palace alongside Their Majesties.
This occasion marks one of the first major events for King Charles as he gradually resumes public duties following a period of treatment and recuperation for cancer. After two months primarily dedicated to private affairs and constitutional matters, His Majesty is poised to engage in public-facing activities in the coming days.
