Iran's Revolutionary Guards have warned that Britain would become a "definite and legitimate target" if it supported the United States in any military conflict with Tehran.
In comments broadcast by Iran's state-run IRIB on Saturday, a spokesperson for the Revolutionary Guards said any country assisting the US in a war against Iran, including Britain and Gulf states, would be regarded as a legitimate target.
The spokesperson also claimed that US bombers had recently operated from British airfields, citing this as part of the warning directed at London.
