British Queen celebrates

One lucky National Lottery player could be celebrating a life-changing win—if they check their ticket in time!

A single ticket holder has scooped the £4 million jackpot from Saturday’s Lotto draw, but the prize remains unclaimed. Now, Lotto organizers are urging players to double-check their tickets to see if they’re the winner.

The winning numbers from last night’s draw were 12, 28, 10, 6, 29, 2, and the bonus number was 57.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, the company running the National Lottery, shared his excitement:
“Wow, what fantastic news! One lucky ticket holder has claimed tonight’s £4 million Lotto jackpot. It’s already shaping up to be a lucky year, with two jackpot wins in a single week—this follows last Saturday’s £7.5 million jackpot win on January 4.”

Players are encouraged to check their tickets carefully and contact the National Lottery if they believe they’ve hit the jackpot.

The jackpot winner isn’t the only one celebrating. Two other players matched five numbers plus the bonus ball, each taking home a millionaire-making prize.

Meanwhile, in Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, one ticket holder matched all five numbers to claim £350,000. Additionally, 27 players who matched four out of five numbers bagged £13,000 each.

In the Thunderball draw, the winning numbers were 01, 15, 20, 33, 39, with the Thunderball number 05. Although no players claimed the £500,000 top prize, three lucky players won £5,000 each by matching five numbers.

It’s already proving to be a great year for Lotto fans—make sure to check your tickets! You could be the next big winner. Photo by Chris Downer, Wikimedia commons.
