A significant cannabis bust occurred in Glasgow when police officers raided a property in the Duke Street area on Monday, leading to the arrest of a 32-year-old man.

During the operation, officers discovered cannabis plants estimated to be worth £95,000. The man was subsequently charged in connection with the seizure and is scheduled to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson provided details of the raid: “Around 10am on Monday, August 5, 2024, officers seized a quantity of cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of £95,000, from a property in Duke Street, Glasgow. A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
