The eastbound lanes of the M4 in west London have been closed as authorities investigate an incident. The closure, implemented at 6:10 am on Monday morning at Junction 3, is anticipated to
last until 9 am, according to a statement from National Highways South-East.
"Due to an incident, the road is closed at Junction 3 for investigation work by @metpoliceuk," read a post on social media by National Highways South-East.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix has reported queues stretching up to three miles back to Junction 4 near Heathrow Airport.
In a separate incident in Walthamstow, north London, an accident has resulted in injuries to four individuals, prompting the diversion of nine bus routes.
