This forthcoming State Visit marks the second of its kind during King Charles's reign. The inaugural State Visit occurred in the autumn of 2022 when Their Majesties graciously welcomed the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, to the United Kingdom.

While the specific dates for President Yoon Suk Yeol and Mrs. Kim Keon Hee's visit remain undisclosed, it is anticipated that the end of November may be the likelier timeframe. This assumption arises in light of the recent announcement by the Dutch Royal House, revealing that King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima will host the esteemed couple during a State Visit to the Netherlands in December.

Notably, the initial encounter between King Charles and President Yoon Suk Yeol transpired during a solemn reception for Heads of State.
