According to a spokesperson from Downing Street, the two leaders discussed a range of topics, including Ukraine, bilateral relations, and the need to address illegal immigration.
The spokesperson stated, "Prime Minister Sunak highlighted the significant benefits of Sweden joining NATO and commended their efforts in addressing Turkey's legitimate security concerns. He expressed his desire for the alliance to proceed with ratifying Sweden's accession as soon as possible." This call took place ahead of an upcoming NATO summit scheduled for next week.
