British Queen celebrates

A fortunate individual has won £55,013,819 in the recent EuroMillions draw, making them richer than Harry Kane, as stated by the Sunday Times Rich List. Camelot UK has confirmed the

receipt of the claim, which will now undergo the validation process. The winner will have the option to decide whether to make their win public or remain anonymous.

Andy Carter, senior winner's adviser at Camelot, expressed, "This is the third UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2023 and the second win this month. On June 2, one lucky ticket holder scooped the entire £111million EuroMillions jackpot, making them the 12th biggest National Lottery winner of all time."

The winning numbers for the June 20 EuroMillions draw were 11, 17, 28, 32, 35, with Lucky Stars 05 and 06.

This news follows two other Lotto players who each won £6.3 million within a 24-hour period. Winners of the UK lottery have the choice to disclose their identity or remain anonymous. According to the UK National Lottery's rich list, only two out of ten winners choose to reveal themselves.

The EuroMillions draw takes place twice a week, with one on Tuesday and another on Friday, typically held between 8:15 pm and 8:45 pm. Last July, an anonymous Briton claimed a record £195 million jackpot. Two months prior, Joe and Jess Thwaite won £184 million and celebrated their triumph with a meal at a Miller & Carter restaurant.

The Thwaites decided to go public with their win to avoid burdening others with the secret. Their remarkable fortune exceeded that of singer Sir Tom Jones, showcasing the life-changing potential of EuroMillions winnings. Photo by Magnus D from London, Wikimedia commons.
