British Queen celebrates

Chelsea's potential £30 million deal for striker Nicolas Jackson could mean they are securing the player at a significantly lower value, according to the CEO of Villarreal.

Villarreal's Roig Negueroles commented on the impending transfer between the Spanish club and the Blues, which was first reported exclusively by Standard Sport last week.

At just 22 years old, Jackson has been in outstanding form, scoring nine goals in his last eight LaLiga matches and making a name for himself during a breakout season on the Mediterranean coast.

Negueroles believes that Jackson's value will continue to rise, far exceeding the fee that Chelsea is expected to pay. He stated, "Jackson is a player with great potential, and he may be worth £70m in the future. Now, this is the contract he has and the clause he has, and I don't think amounts like that should be underestimated."

Reports suggest that Jackson will be in London this week to undergo a medical examination and sign a five-year contract with Chelsea. Negueroles expressed his surprise at the player's recent performances, stating, "He's been very impressive, although being a forward who scores so many goals creates so much more of an impact. What he has done in these last 10 games has been spectacular and somewhat unexpected, considering he had a lack of goals during his time in the academy."

If the deal is finalized at £30 million, it would indicate a significant discount for Chelsea, as Villarreal's CEO suggests that Jackson's future value could be far higher.
