British Queen celebrates

King Charles, with Queen Camilla by his side, opened the doors of the longest-occupied castle in Europe for a sparkling evening at Windsor Castle, marking the premiere of ‘Finding Harmony –

A King’s Vision’, a documentary he helped create for Amazon Prime.

The film, produced in collaboration with The King’s Foundation, shines a light on King Charles III’s decades-long commitment to environmental protection and sustainable living — a cause that has defined much of his public life.

True to the film’s message, the royal couple ditched the traditional red carpet in favour of a green one, reinforcing the evening’s environmental theme. The choice echoed a modern royal trend championed by Prince William, who has famously used green carpets at Earthshot Prize ceremonies to highlight ecological awareness.

Queen Camilla embraced the theme in style, arriving in a striking full-length green velvet evening coat layered over a forest-green trouser suit. King Charles wore Windsor uniform, the distinctive formal attire traditionally worn by senior male members of the Royal Family at the historic castle.

The premiere attracted an impressive guest list, with stars including Kate Winslet, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sir Rod Stewart and Dame Judi Dench in attendance.

Guests were ushered into a bespoke cinema created especially for the night inside Windsor Castle’s grand Waterloo Chamber, where the documentary was screened for the first time.

Finding Harmony – A King’s Vision offers an intimate look at the King’s environmental philosophy. In the film, Charles reflects on humanity’s relationship with the planet, saying:

“It all boils down to the fact that we are actually nature ourselves. We are a part of it, not apart from it — which is really how things have been presented for so long.”

Other members of the Royal Family joined the King and Queen for the special occasion ahead of the film’s official release on Amazon Prime next month. The Duchess of Edinburgh wore a bright green satin dress with long sleeves, while the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester made a subtle patriotic statement, with the Duchess carrying a Union Jack-inspired handbag.
