On Wednesday, the Lotto winning numbers were 12, 28, 33, 37, 42, 49, with the bonus number 25. However, no player claimed the top prize, leading to Saturday's National Lottery Jackpot
becoming a guaranteed £20m.
Saturday's Jackpot is a "must be won" prize, which means that if no player matches all six balls, the prize money will be shared between those who match two or more numbers. Last Wednesday, one player matched five out of six, plus the bonus ball, winning £1m, while 65 players who matched five out of six scooped £1,750 each. However, no ticket-holder matched five out of five Lotto HotPicks numbers to win £350,000. Two players matched four out of five, winning £13,000 each.
The winning Thunderball numbers on Wednesday were 01, 02, 17, 18, 22, with the Thunderball number 13. No one matched all five numbers and the Thunderball, so the £500,000 prize went unclaimed.
