The Prime Minister arrived in Cardiff this afternoon for his first in-person meeting with First Minister Eluned Morgan since she assumed the role earlier this month.
During their meeting in the Welsh capital, the Prime Minister and the First Minister will discuss the ongoing efforts to strengthen the crucial relationship between the UK and Welsh Governments, with a shared focus on delivering tangible benefits for working people across the nation.
As the UK Government embarks on a decade of national renewal, Wales and its communities will play a central role in efforts to create high-quality jobs, reduce energy bills, and ensure energy security.
Tomorrow, the two leaders are expected to visit a renewable energy site to explore how Welsh companies are investing in clean power projects that not only power homes but also support local jobs.
This visit follows the UK Government's recent announcement of £13.5 million in immediate funding to support supply chain businesses and workers impacted by Tata Steel’s transition to greener steel-making. Photo by Senedd Cymru / Welsh Parliament from Wales, Wikimedia commons.
