Israeli Medical Association, General Medical Council, and Campaign Against Antisemitism to Speak at Two-Day Event in Brighton.

Dr. Sharon Raymond, a London-based GP, is organizing and chairing the first-ever conference for UK and international doctors titled "Doctor and Patient: The Jewish Perspective in Healthcare Settings." The event will be held in Brighton on September 18-19.

This groundbreaking medical conference will feature educational lectures and peer support sessions for doctors. Key medical and community organizations, including the General Medical Council, Campaign Against Antisemitism, Israeli Medical Association, and the Jewish Agency, are scheduled to deliver talks.

Dr. Raymond shared with Jewish News, "This event aims to explore the cultural and religious needs of Jewish patients and share the experiences of Jewish doctors working in various countries. We will also reflect on the impact of and approaches to antisemitism in the workplace."

The Brighton conference promises a unique educational and networking experience for Jewish doctors, with excellent speakers, delicious kosher food, and local outings. Topics for discussion include dying, death and burial, antisemitism in healthcare settings, and women's health. The event will also provide overnight accommodation and kosher meals.
