British Queen celebrates

The John Lewis Partnership is embarking on a recruitment drive to fill more than 10,000 positions across the UK in the upcoming months, with a focus on 8,400 seasonal

roles.

The Partnership is set to hire over 2,900 temporary employees to cover sales and merchandising roles within its 34 John Lewis stores.

In its supermarket division, Waitrose, the company will onboard 2,800 seasonal staff members across its 329 stores. These roles will encompass supermarket assistants, night shift workers, and customer delivery drivers.

Furthermore, around 2,700 seasonal opportunities will be available within its supply chain, facilitated by recruitment agencies. These positions will include warehouse operatives and drivers essential for fulfilling online deliveries and click-and-collect orders.

Beyond the seasonal and temporary positions, an additional 1,700 roles will open up across both John Lewis and Waitrose, encompassing various responsibilities in the upcoming months.
