The UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) has introduced a Super Priority Visa (SPV) service for applicants in Jakarta, Indonesia, offering a faster decision on their visa applications for

an additional fee.

The SPV is an optional paid service available in select locations worldwide, allowing applicants to expedite the processing of their visa applications for a quicker decision.

For the first time, applicants in Jakarta can now avail themselves of this optional service.

Those opting for the SPV can expect to receive a decision on their UK visa application by the end of the next working day if their appointment is scheduled on a weekday. If the appointment falls on a weekend or bank holiday, the decision may take up to 2 working days after the appointment.

However, applicants should note that the processing time may exceed 2 working days if the Home Office requires additional information.

The fee for the Super Priority Visa Service is currently £1,000 in addition to the standard visa fee corresponding to the type of visa being applied for.

The standard processing time for a UK visa is 15 working days, excluding evenings, weekends, or public holidays. In some cases, applications may take longer.

The most up-to-date visa decision waiting times for each visa category are available on gov.uk, including information about priority services for applicants outside the UK.

Dominic Jermey, the British Ambassador to Indonesia and Timor-Leste, expressed his delight at the launch of the Super Priority Visa service in Jakarta. He emphasized the service's utility for businesses, students, and travelers with urgent requirements, highlighting its role in providing greater flexibility to customers and reaffirming the commitment to enhancing visa services for Indonesian travelers to the UK.
