British Queen celebrates

As the days progress, Britain is poised to embrace warmer temperatures, with the mercury climbing above 20C. The dreary rain and windy conditions will soon become a distant memory as

sunshine graces the skies.

According to weather maps cited by The Mirror, temperatures are expected to soar to 24C in the upcoming days. Regions across the country, including Manchester, Fort William, Aberdeen, and Edinburgh, will revel in sunshine, experiencing temperatures ranging between 18-20C during this period.

Looking ahead to the forecast between May 2 to 11, the Met Office predicts, "In the initial phase of this period, various parts of the UK are likely to witness bouts of rain or showers. Some of these showers may be heavy and accompanied by thunder, particularly in the southeast."

The forecast continues, "Alongside this, eastern regions may experience a considerable amount of low cloud at times, accompanied by coastal fog. However, temperatures are expected to remain generally above average for this time of year. Overall, northwestern regions of the UK are anticipated to observe drier and sunnier conditions."

This future outlook stands in stark contrast to the current chilly conditions expected today, where many areas are unlikely to surpass 11C. Heavy rain is forecasted to move northward across several eastern and central areas, while the western regions are expected to be drier and brighter, with sunny spells and scattered showers.

For Coventry, today is expected to commence with unsettled weather, characterized by heavy and persistent rain. However, conditions are expected to gradually improve, turning brighter and drier as the day progresses, albeit with occasional breeziness. The maximum temperature is forecasted to reach 13C, with clear spells expected into the night, accompanied by a minimum temperature of 4C.

Here is the Met Office's outlook for Coventry over the next few days:

Monday: Starting off rather cloudy with showery rain in the west, but drier conditions and sunnier spells further east. Temperatures will be milder than recent days, with stronger southerly winds. Maximum temperature 15°C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday: Expect fluctuations in weather conditions throughout the week, with showers alternating with longer spells of rain, interspersed with sunny intervals.
