British Queen celebrates

Taylor Swift's latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," has shattered Spotify's record for the most-streamed album in a single day, the platform has announced. Not only did Swift's

album achieve this milestone, but she also claimed the title of the most-streamed artist in a single day.

The highly anticipated album, released on Friday, ignited a frenzy among Swifties worldwide. With 31 tracks, the megastar bares her soul, delving into themes of heartbreak and seemingly directing her emotions towards former partners.

Initially, the album dropped its first 16 tracks at 5 a.m. UK time as scheduled. However, just a few hours later, an additional 15 tracks were released, offering fans even more to explore and leaving music journalists in awe.

Describing the album as an anthology of new works, Swift stated it reflects "events, opinions, and sentiments from a fleeting and fatalistic moment in time - one that was both sensational and sorrowful in equal measure." She declared that this period in her life is now closed, with nothing left to avenge or settle once wounds have healed.

Swift had announced the arrival of her 11th studio album during her performance at the Grammy Awards in February. Tracks such as "So Long, London" are speculated to reference her ex-partner, British actor Joe Alwyn, with whom she was in a relationship for six years. Additionally, "But Daddy I Love Him" is thought to address the discourse surrounding Swift's rumored romance with The 1975's lead singer Matty Healy.

"The Tortured Poets Department" follows Swift's highly successful album "Midnights," which sold 1.6 million copies in its first week in the US two years ago. With hit singles like "Anti-Hero," "Bejeweled," and "Karma," it won the Album of the Year award at the Grammys, making Swift the first person to win the award four times.

Swift's new album arrival has sparked excitement among her devoted fanbase, especially with the promise of new material for her blockbuster Eras tour, set to hit Europe this summer. The tour, which revisits each of her previous 10 albums, promises an unforgettable experience for fans, with shows lasting over three hours.
