British Queen celebrates

 

Four individuals have been charged in connection with the theft of a gold toilet from Blenheim Palace in England. The art installation, valued at €5.5 million (£4.8 million), mysteriously

disappeared during an overnight heist in September 2019.

The Crown Prosecution Service has given its approval for criminal charges to be filed against these four men, who are scheduled to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on November 28.

The accused individuals are as follows:

James Sheen, aged 39, from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, who is facing charges of burglary, conspiracy to transfer criminal property, and transferring criminal property.

Michael Jones, aged 38, from Oxford, who has been charged with burglary.

Fred Doe, aged 35, from Ascot, Berkshire, and Bora Guccuk, aged 39, from west London, both charged with conspiracy to transfer criminal property.

The stolen gold toilet, which was fully functional, had been exhibited as an artwork at the historic Oxfordshire palace, famously known as the birthplace of Winston Churchill, before it mysteriously vanished. Photo by DeFacto, Wikimedia commons.
