The annual London Open Gardens event, now in its 25th year, is set to grant access to more than 100 gardens across 12 London boroughs this weekend.

This event offers a rare opportunity to explore some of the city's "private, secret, and little-known gardens," according to the organizers.

"London Open Gardens’ silver jubilee is a unique celebration of London’s green lungs and London Parks & Gardens’ commitment to protect them for everyone,” said Nathan Oley, chair of London Open Gardens and trustee of London Parks & Gardens.

This year, nine gardens will be joining the event for the first time or returning after a long absence. The initiative, which began by opening iconic but usually inaccessible London squares in the west, now features a diverse array of green spaces, including roof gardens, historical institution gardens, and community allotments.

In addition to viewing the gardens, visitors can enjoy various activities, plant sales, and refreshments at some locations. Ticket prices are £22 for adults over 25, £11 for those under 25, and free for children under 12.
