A 38-year-old man from Cumbria has been arrested following an alleged incident of racial abuse against an assistant referee during the Carlisle United vs. Oxford United match at Brunton Park
on Saturday. The arrest was made on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence. Carlisle United has strongly condemned the behavior, expressing disapproval of the incident.
