British Queen celebrates

Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, plans to appeal to entrepreneurs and businesses to increase their investment in Ukraine during an upcoming conference aimed at

assisting the country in its recovery from Russia's invasion. The two-day event, set to commence in London on Wednesday, will feature a virtual appearance by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, according to organizers.

In his speech, Sunak will emphasize the need for the private sector to demonstrate a visionary approach and support Ukraine's rebuilding and recovery process, stating, "Ukraine's bravery on the battlefield must be matched by the vision of the private sector to help the country rebuild and recover." The Prime Minister believes that a financially stronger and technologically advanced Ukraine will enhance its capacity to push back Russian forces beyond its borders.

Dignitaries and company leaders attending the Ukraine Recovery Conference will have the opportunity to hear from prominent figures such as U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen. Their participation underscores the international community's commitment to assisting Ukraine in its journey towards stability and progress.

Since Russia's military incursion on February 24 last year, the Kyiv government has received substantial financial aid and military support from Britain and other Western allies. These efforts have been aimed at countering Moscow's "special military operation" in Ukraine.

To facilitate collaboration between Ukrainian and international companies, a new digital platform will be launched during the conference. This platform aims to foster partnerships and cooperative endeavors. Additionally, a technology project will be introduced to encourage joint ventures between Ukrainian and British entrepreneurs and businesses. Furthermore, a £10 million ($13 million) fund will be established to support low-carbon energy initiatives in Ukraine.
