New car registrations in Britain saw a slight decline of approximately 1% in February, according to preliminary industry data released on Wednesday. The drop was largely attributed to a
decrease in fleet registrations.
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) reported that battery electric vehicles (BEVs) accounted for around 25% of total sales during the month, reflecting the continued shift toward electric mobility.
Final figures for February are expected to be published by SMMT at 09:00 GMT. Photo by Snowmanradio at English Wikipedia.
