Princess Beatrice of Britain is expecting her second child, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Tuesday. The 36-year-old royal and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are “very pleased to
announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring,” according to the official statement.
The new baby will join their 3-year-old daughter, Sienna, and will be a half-sibling to 8-year-old Wolfie, Mozzi’s son from a previous relationship.
Buckingham Palace also shared that King Charles III has been informed of the happy news, with both families expressing their delight.
Princess Beatrice, currently ninth in line to the British throne, is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York. She married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, a millionaire property developer, in July 2020 in an intimate ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor.
