British Queen celebrates

Former minister David Davis took action to stop an assault on a homeless person near Parliament, confirming his intervention during the Tuesday evening incident. The seasoned Tory

MP intervened upon witnessing two individuals violently attacking another man on the ground.

Guto Harri, former No 10 director of communications, also played a role in preventing the attack, noting that their intervention potentially saved a life. According to Mr. Davis, he accommodated the victim overnight on his sofa to aid in their recovery and, the next morning, accompanied the still-bleeding victim to the hospital.

Mr. Harri detailed the severity of the situation, describing the attackers as having no restraint and inflicting violence on an individual who was defenseless. He expressed concerns that had they not intervened, the situation might have turned fatal.

In recounting the incident, Mr. Davis emphasized the importance of taking action to safeguard individuals at risk, stating that his primary concern was removing the victim from harm's way. Reflecting on a past tragic event, Mr. Davis asserted that he couldn't simply stand by and watch such violence unfold without stepping in.

The context of this incident aligns with a recent report highlighting an increase in recorded violent crimes in the Westminster area. The report highlighted a concerning surge in violent crime in the vicinity of Parliament over the past few years, indicating a broader issue of rising disorder and criminal incidents in the area.
