A report in The Telegraph has highlighted Poland's rapid emergence as a European leader, taking over the role previously held by Germany and France, militarily and
otherwise. The country's growing economy has been the main reason for its rise, with future-facing industries such as battery manufacturing and tech contributing to its economic strength.
The report also notes that Poland's economic success has allowed it to become a formidable fighting force, guarding against Russian aggression.
The country's current GDP per capita stands at £28,200, compared to £35,000 in the UK, £34,200 in France, and £39,800 in Germany, and at its current trajectory, it is expected to overtake the UK by 2030. The author of the report also shares a personal anecdote about his son and daughter-in-law who have decided to relocate to Poland due to the low taxes, well-functioning welfare system, and lower cost of living.
