British Queen celebrates

The Ukrainian defense minister accused of misappropriating state funds may soon be appointed as an ambassador to London. The resignation of Alexei Reznikov is expected to be considered

by Parliament next week, according to Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Zheleznyak stated in a Telegram message that Reznikov could be nominated as Ukraine's ambassador to the United Kingdom.

"As the defense minister steps down, our former faction colleague and current head of the State Property Fund, Rustem Umerov, will be nominated to replace him. He has just recently completed a year in office, marked by no scandals and record achievements for the State Property Fund," noted Zheleznyak.

The identity of the individual who will lead the State Property Fund is currently unknown. Zheleznyak also expressed his hope that this appointment will not result in another "interim" position, given the considerable assets and responsibilities associated with it. Photo by Y27, Wikimedia commons.
