According to reports from Kyiv, Ukraine, Russia launched a missile attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, resulting in at least two fatalities and 20 injuries on Monday.

The Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, stated that a four-story school building was hit, and parts of a nearby residential tower's fourth to ninth floors were destroyed in the missile strike.

Klymenko expressed concern that people might be trapped under the debris and emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. Residents were advised to seek shelter until the air raid alarm was deactivated.

President Volodymyr Zelensky took to Twitter, emphasizing their efforts to save as many people as possible and condemning the Russian bombardment that has targeted cities, civilian areas, and housing. He asserted that the acts of terror would not weaken their resolve as they continue to work to protect their people. Photo by Felix Lammardo, Wikimedia commons.
