On July 23, 2023, easyJet, the UK-based airline, reassured the public that it is currently maintaining its flight operations to Rhodes, Greece, despite the ongoing wildfires on the island. However,

the company stated that it is closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety and well-being of its passengers.

In a statement, easyJet affirmed, "We are presently operating flights as scheduled to Rhodes; nevertheless, we are vigilantly observing the situation." The airline advised customers who have travel plans to or from Rhodes to keep track of their flight status using the Flight Tracker service.

Furthermore, easyJet emphasized its commitment to cooperating with the local authorities' requests and confirmed that it is in regular communication with its customers in the region. For passengers who have bookings to travel to or from Rhodes until July 29, the airline is offering flexible options. They can choose to transfer to an alternative date without incurring any fees or can request a flight voucher for the value of their unused flights by reaching out to easyJet's Customer Services.

In light of the ongoing wildfires and potential disruptions, easyJet remains focused on ensuring the safety and convenience of its passengers and continues to provide updates and support to those affected by the situation in Rhodes.
