On Saturday (13 May), anti-migrant protests in Dublin continued after a makeshift homeless camp was destroyed the previous evening. Footage captured the aftermath

of a fire in a lane off Upper Sandwith Street in Dublin 2, as well as protesters clashing with police. No injuries were reported following the fire, according to authorities.

Reports suggest that homeless asylum seekers were staying in tents on the lane near the International Protection Office due to difficulties in finding accommodation.

The Department of Children and Integration condemned the violent incidents and intimidation towards international protection applicants. Photo by ENRY CLARK, Wikimedia commons.
