British Queen celebrates

In a temporary step back from her royal obligations, Queen Camilla will be taking a short break from official engagements. This comes after she assumed a prominent role in leading

The Royal Family in the absence of her husband, King Charles III, who is undergoing cancer treatment.

Throughout recent events, including the memorial service for the late King Constantine II of Greece, the 76-year-old consort has been widely acknowledged as the de facto head of state, representing the nation with grace and dignity.

Queen Camilla is scheduled to return to her duties on March 11, when she will once again lead The Royal Family at the annual Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey.

During her time off, she plans to devote a week to spending quality time with her family, prioritizing personal rejuvenation and relaxation.

According to a source close to the royal family, Queen Camilla has been heartened by the positive response from the public regarding her assumption of additional responsibilities in recent weeks.

"While she hadn't anticipated stepping into the role of leading the family, Her Majesty is fully committed to fulfilling her duties and supporting the institution," the source stated. Photo by KoronaLacassePhoto, Wikimedia commons.
