British Queen celebrates

Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister, accompanied by his wife Akshata Murthy, attended a Sunday service alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla during their weekend stay on the monarch's

Balmoral estate.

The Prime Minister and his wife made their way to Crathie Kirk, separately from the Royal Family, before joining them for the service.

On this occasion, King Charles sported another kilt, following the unveiling of a new tartan at the Braemar Gathering the previous Saturday.

Mr. Sunak is scheduled to return to Parliament on Monday as the summer recess concludes.

One of the significant issues on the parliamentary agenda will be addressing the safety of schools with crumbling concrete, following Chancellor Jeremy Hunt's commitment that the government will "spend what it takes." Over 100 schools in England have been ordered to close due to this issue.

In addition to King Charles and Queen Camilla, the Sunday service at Crathie Kirk was also attended by The Princess Royal and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence.

The Royal Family is approaching the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's passing and King Charles's ascension to the throne, which took place on 8 September.

Rishi Sunak's visit to Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire is a customary September tradition for sitting Prime Ministers. Former Prime Minister David Cameron once noted that there isn't much "chillaxing" (chilling out and relaxing) at the castle, as the royals often engage in outdoor activities.
