British Queen celebrates

Prince Harry is set to make his return to the UK in a mere two weeks, as his attendance at an event scheduled on the eve of the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's

passing has been officially verified.

The Duke of Sussex will participate in the WellChild award ceremony on September 7, 2023.

Notably, the Royal Family will not be hosting any public commemoration to mark the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's demise. It is anticipated that King Charles will privately observe the occasion at the Balmoral estate.

Given this context, it is unlikely that Prince Harry will have an opportunity to meet his father during his brief visit to the UK.

Furthermore, the Duke of Sussex is expected to be in the UK for only a few days, as his Invictus Games are slated to begin in Dusseldorf, Germany on September 9.

Regarding the charity event, Prince Harry expressed, "For nearly 20 years, WellChild has been transforming the lives of children and young people across the UK, providing critical care that prioritizes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of these individuals and their families."

During his presence at the event, Prince Harry will interact with each award recipient and their families. He will also present the award for the "Inspirational Child" category (ages four to six) and deliver a speech.

Nevertheless, it's anticipated that Prince Harry will not have a reunion with Prince William and Princess Kate.

The ongoing rift between Prince Harry and his brother appears to have reached a nadir, as a source informed the Mail that their feud is "firmly rooted at rock bottom."

This development comes in light of claims that Prince Harry's "very painful" betrayal of Prince William is obstructing the prospect of critical discussions between the Duke of Sussex and King Charles.

Prince Harry's public criticisms of senior Royal Family members, including Prince William, in his autobiography "Spare" and the Netflix documentary "Harry & Meghan," have reportedly deeply affected Prince Charles, who reportedly feels "utterly betrayed."

A friend of Prince William conveyed, "They were very close growing up, so it has been very painful for William. But ultimately, what can he do? Just look at 'Spare.' It’s literally William’s worst nightmare. It is a total violation of his privacy." Photo by Minerva97, Wikimedia commons.
