British Queen celebrates

The UK government has allocated over £7 million to Worcestershire County Council to help families in need due to the increasing cost of living. The Household Support

Fund is a discretionary fund that allows local councils to provide aid to vulnerable families who may not be eligible for other government support schemes.

With this new funding, the total amount of support provided to Worcestershire residents is now over £19 million. Redditch MP Rachel Maclean has expressed her appreciation for the fund's aid to her constituents during cost of living drop-in events hosted by Act on Energy.

Ms. Maclean notes that the Household Support Fund has been a valuable resource for many of her constituents and emphasizes that as the cost of living remains high for families, she will continue to do everything in her power to support them during these difficult times.
