British Queen celebrates

On Friday, the Rail Delivery Group (RDG) announced that British train companies have presented a fresh proposal to rail workers in an attempt to put an end to the

prolonged disagreement over wages. The ongoing series of strikes across the UK's transportation system has been causing significant disruptions for several months, with workers pushing for better salaries that keep pace with the rising inflation.

According to the RDG spokesperson, the revised offer aims to address the concerns of the workers by providing crucial clarifications and reassurances, specifically regarding the employment terms and conditions for the employees. The group considers the new proposal to be fair and hopes that it will help bring an end to the dispute.

The National Union of Rail, Maritime, and Transport Workers (RMT) has yet to decide on its next course of action and is currently evaluating the offer made by the train companies. On the other hand, a separate pay dispute between Network Rail, which manages the tracks and signalling infrastructure, and the union was resolved last month after the union's members agreed to accept an improved pay offer.
